Corn Chowder



Corn Chowder
3 slices salt Pork
2 cups milk
1 medium onion, medium dice                       
2 cups cooked corn, fresh, or canned
4 cups water
1 tsp. salt
6 soda crackers
1/4 tsp. pepper
1. Cut salt pork into cubes and brown in large saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender and lightly browned. Add potatoes and water and cook until potatoes are tender.
2. Soak crackers in milk. Add corn, salt, pepper and soaked crackers to the cooked potato mixture. Heat, to boiling. Serves: 4 ©Al (Alex-Alexander) D. Girvan. All rights reserved.
